Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work. Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!” John 4:34-35
Gospel for Asia- Lorrie McConaughy
God grabbed a hold of Lorrie McConaughy’s heart in March of 2005 after years of living in a backslidden state. Through His love He taught her to completely rely on Him and serve Him with everything she had. After 3 years of walking with the Lord and being dependent on Him, She heard a sermon by K.P. Yohannan about service and sacrifice. It was then that God first opened Lorrie’s heart to Gospel for Asia (GFA). At that time, she dreamed of working there full-time, but never thought she would be brave enough to do so. Then she heard another sermon on the radio and the Pastor said, “If God has put something on your heart, don’t ignore it, you’ll be so sorry, step out and do it!” Right then she started praying, seeking God and talking to her sons about the possibility of doing God’s work full-time through GFA.
After seeking God and several interviews, Lori was asked to come on as full-time staff with GFA in Texas. Knowing that this was the direction God was calling her, Lorrie quit her high-paying job, raised support, got rid of about ¾ of her possessions and moved to Texas.
Now, as a missionary from with Gospel for Asia, sent out by CCEA, Lorrie works in the finance department in the GFA main office located in Carrollton, Texas. Serving as a missionary in the states, Lorrie is able to assist GFA in the spreading of the Gospel throughout the continent of Asia. GFA national missionaries plant over 17 churches a day, and are willing to face persecution to bring the Gospel to the unreached of Asia.

Gospel for Asia- Trevor Dart
I’m excited to share with you what God is doing my life. The Lord has led me to serve Him at Gospel for Asia (GFA), a mission organization based in Carrollton, Texas, a Dallas suburb. And through this calling, God has kept my life interesting over the past few months.
Last year while I was in Grafton, WI, I began to pray and search out what the Lord might have for me in the future. At first I was unsure about God’s direction for my life, or what he might be leading me to do for work, I didn’t feel that God was leading me in any specific direction. On my own I considered a few different options but never felt called into any specific opportunity. Eventually I decided to simply wait on the Lord’s direction. As what normally happens, it was not until I gave everything to Him that God showed me His plan for my life. Through him opening my eyes to GFA, I strongly sensed God’s direction and call to do His work through this ministry. Since I began following His lead, God has continued to give me peace as I move toward serving at GFA.
